Simon Mills
Biography:
Simon lives and works in Bristol.
All his work starts as a doodle on a scrap of paper, which can play havoc with the household utility bills. He finds most of his characters and subjects in that first doodle.
He’s a big fan of using found objects as ‘canvasses’, things that have been discarded by others, and giving them a second life. He also uses various objects for his work: roads, walls, boxes, lockups and even the odd scrap car!
He enjoys using ink, sticks, brushes and spray paint and is also quite partial to an electric jigsaw.
