Sarah Barnes
Biography:
Sarah Barnes is a multi-disciplinary print maker who explores themes of architecture and the urban environment within her work. She is particularly fascinated by the industrial and derelict areas of our cities and how these can be brought to life through colour.
Photographs and line drawings are used as a starting point that are developed using a variety of processes including Lythography and lasercutting. Sarah is currently studying for a Masters in Multi-Disciplinary Printmaking at the University of the West of England (UWE) and is looking at how new technologies, particularly laser cutting can be combined with traditional techniques to produce innovative, 3-D prints and exterior wallcoverings.
