Jess of the Lions
Biography:
Jess of the Lions is an illustrator inspired by the pattern and form of both natural and urban environments.
Compelled by the repetition and symmetry of all that surrounds us, Jess also seeks out the unique, creating a world just a little outside of usual.
Her work shows strong Asian influences and is frequently laced with bold pattern and rich colours.
Before undertaking any new work, Jess claims to consult an advisory board which includes a crocodile, an ocelot and terrace of Victorian townhouses. Opinions are often mixed.
