Jayde Perkin

Jayde Perkin recently graduated from the University West of England with a first class honours. Inspired by vintage Americana, fashion and ephemera; Jayde is interested in telling the stories of misfits and outcasts from history, juxtaposing them with her naïve character studies and playful painterly execution. Similarly, she makes books and zines from her own personal experiences inspired by odd conversations, sticky situations and the little mundane things in life.

Jayde was recently featured in the Telegraph for her contribution to the book Rosebud Sleds & Horses Heads: 50 of Film’s Most Evocative Objects, in which she illustrated Marilyn Monroe’s famous white dress and 16 other iconic objects from film.
