Emma Garner
Biography:
Emma originally studied Graphic Design but quickly realised that her interest lay in Illustration.
Her influences come from vintage photos, typography, surface pattern and folk art. Favourite artists include Klee, Rousseau, Jan Saudek, Joel- Peter Witkin, Grayson Perry and Jane Ray.
Emma loves to combine text with image and, when not looking after her children, can often be found searching for unusual fonts and old patterns to use in her work.
Working mainly in book illustration and greeting cards, she decided to launch Pomegranate Prints in 2010. This is her own personal range of prints and cards which she sells from her website and Notonthehighstreet.com.
