Charlene Lim
Biography:
Charlene loves drawing. Graduating in Natural Sciences set her off to an interesting start and she decided that science wasn’t the path to be taken when the sketchbook pile was decidedly higher than all her science books and notes (or lack thereof) combined. And with that resolved in her mind, the journey of illustration and design started.
She works with simple instruments. Black pens of any form (a simple Bic biro to fineliners to whiteboard markers) is her preferred method to start any brief as she loves working with simple strokes and lines to build up a bigger picture. Felt tips, colour pencils and inks are her other instrumental loves.
Charlene’s takes joy in hand-drawn work and her illustrations are simply what they are in front of you; un-retouched, raw, and contain their original texture, lines and realness.
